Simple by design

From unbox to compliant in minutes

1

Tag your inventory

Keep your existing hang tags — just add a printed RFID + barcode label to the back. Same workflow, same look; now each tag carries an RFID inlay and your barcode together.

2

Scan in seconds

Wave a TSL RFID reader over your case or vault. Sight Line RF reads every tagged item simultaneously — no individual scanning needed.

3

Stay compliant automatically

A&D entries, transfer logs, and audit trails are generated in real time. Your records are always inspection-ready.

The tech explained

How RFID works

No magic — just radio waves. Here's exactly what happens when you wave a reader over your inventory.

Live simulation

RF
RF
RF
RF
RF
Reader polls all tags simultaneously — no individual scanning
01Tag attached at intake

When a firearm arrives, a printed RFID + barcode label is generated and applied to its hang tag (or its box). It's linked to the serial number, model, and caliber — no manual entry required.

02Reader sends radio pulses

The TSL handheld reader emits UHF radio waves that power the passive tags — no batteries in the tags. All tags in range respond simultaneously.

03Every item logged instantly

Sight Line RF matches each tag response to your inventory in real time. A&D entries, locations, and audit logs update automatically — nothing to type.

The hardware behind the magic

Off-the-shelf gear, no proprietary lock-in. Three pieces of hardware turn your shop into an RFID-first operation.

TSL 1128 BT

The workhorse. A pistol-grip UHF reader that pairs with your phone or tablet over Bluetooth and reads hundreds of tags per second. Sweep it past a display case and every firearm inside reports in — without opening the glass.

The label wall

Every label tells the whole story

Drag through a wall of real Sight Line RF labels. Run the scanner and watch the count climb — or tap any label to see exactly what the app reads off that tag.

Search & seekSneak peek

Lost one? Walk it down.

Pick an item and the handheld turns into a Geiger counter — ticking faster and glowing brighter as you close in, falling quiet when you turn away. One item or a pickup list of five: it walks you to each tag, one by one.
